Welcome to My Threaded Journal
This space is an extension of my work as a designer, but also of who I am beyond the sketches, fabrics, and stitches. I created my brand to celebrate tatreez-inspired contemporary fashion, but the story behind each design reaches far beyond aesthetics. It is shaped by my roots as a Palestinian, my life in Andalusia, and my lifelong curiosity about how cultures, histories, and languages weave into one another.
I’ve always been drawn to the deeper connections, asking myself how traditions travel, how art preserves memory, how identity is carried in symbols and patterns. Tatreez is more than embroidery; it is storytelling, resistance, heritage, and beauty. Living in Andalusia, a place layered with its own rich, intertwined past, I find echoes of home in unexpected corners. These intersections inspire my creative process every day.
This blog is where I bring all of that together. Here, I’ll write about the stories behind my designs, the history and meaning of tatreez, the shared threads between Palestine and Andalusia, and the many cultural influences that shape my work. It’s a space for reflection, exploration, and connection—much like fashion itself.
Thank you for being here and for joining me on this journey that blends craft, culture, memory, and meaning.
